Catie Ramp
Catie Ramp has served as the President & CEO of the Georgia Senior Living Association since 2021. Her passion for the industry began in her first volunteer role as a 12-year-old girl, as a companion in the Walton Manor Nursing Home (OH). It was here that she developed a love for Ms. Ruthie. After losing Ms. Ruthie cognitively and then physically, partnered with her own grandmother’s hard-fought battle with dementia, Catie grew a passion for seeing dignity offered in the aging process.
Catie’s career is marinated in the depths of leadership within the non-profit industry. As an Associate Director at Northpoint Ministries, Inc., Catie was committed to the growth and intentional engagement of the community. Concurrently, Catie operated her own consulting firm working with clients such as the Southeast Council of Optometry, Wellness Labs & Clinics, Believe in Me Foundation, Georgia Symphony Orchestra, Cobb Alcohol Taskforce, Cobb & Douglas Public Health, and others. Here she reimagined program evaluation, administrative structure, strategic planning, brand shifts, and development of all levels. In 2006, Catie was the Executive Director of Autism Speaks, Inc., laying the foundation for the organization's inception in Georgia and Maryland. Throughout her career, Catie has acted as a subject matter expert for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, CNN, Fox News, and other national and international news outlets. She played an important role in the grassroots advocacy efforts of Ava's Law, signed into law in 2015. Earlier in her career, Catie called New York City home and served as Director of Volunteers for the Greater New York Division of The Salvation Army. There she developed ground-up programs to manage and service over 30,000 volunteers after the September 11th attacks. She assumed roles on state, regional, and federal committees, including Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) and its counterparts, the New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM), and the New York State Emergency Management Office (SEMO). Catie began her career with Major League Baseball, Inc. and subsequently with the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Club in media and public relations.
Catie holds dual BA degrees in Marketing and Theatre (' 01) from Palm Beach Atlantic University, along with both an MBA (' 12) and MPA (' 12) from Kennesaw State University. She serves on the Argentum State Partners Executive Committee and Women in Leadership Committee.
